A: To check your balance you can use any one of the following methods

Q: Can I subscribe more than once in a day?

A: Yes you can subscribe to more than one package at a time or in a day. Your balances for each validity will accumulate. However access to the social media applications will remain within the latest validity.

Q: Can I subscribe to the ‘Elo Chadiba’ offers and other 422 / 355 offers at the same time?

A: Yes , the All-networks / Chabeba offers on 422 and the stand alone bundles on 355 can be active at the same time as the ‘Elo Chadiba’ promotion.

Q: What Data will I use up first if I have an active ‘Elo Chadiba’ offer and an All-network offer at the same time?

A: The DATA that will be used up first will be for the package with the shortest validity. However, for browsing on the packages with free social applications, the browsing will be charged from the ‘Elo Chadiba’ offer. All other browsing will be billed from the next available bundle on the All networks or other standard bundle or main account.

Q: Can I make calls and send SMSs to other networks using the benefits on the ‘Elo Chadiba!’ offer?

A: No, the benefits that are given on the ‘Elo Chadiba’ offer are valid to use on Zamtel only, i.e. for Zamtel to Zamtel calls and for Zamtel to Zamtel SMS. Calls and SMSs to other networks will be billed from other available wallets or the main account depending on which precedes the other.

Q: Do I get any free calling when on the ‘Elo Chadiba’ Offer?

A: No, there is no free calling on the ‘Elo Chadiba’ offer. However, all calls made will be deducted either from the minutes that come with the offer or charged from the main account depending on the type of call made, i.e. on-net or off-net.

Q: What happens to my benefits when they have not been used up before the expiry?

A: Once the expiry period has been reached the benefits will be zeroed.

Q: I am on Real Mahala , will I be able to subscribe to the ‘Elo Chadiba’ offers?

A: No, while active on Real Mahala which is a standard Tariff you will not be able to subscribe to the ‘Elo Chadiba’ promotion. In the event that you subscribe you will be removed from Real Mahala tariff until you opt in again.

• The promotion is only open to Zamtel mobile prepaid customers.

• Customers will be able to access the packages on the promotion by dialing *422# & *355# as well as through the Zamtel Mobile App

• Customers will have a choice of Daily, Weekly and Monthly offers

• Daily offers will be valid for 24 hours from time of subscription

• Weekly offers will be valid for 7 days from day of subscription

• Monthly offers will be valid for 30 days from the day of subscription

• Benefits attached to each offer will be valid from the time of subscription until the defined expiry time/date.

• The benefits that are attached to each offer will be given to a customer upon successful deduction of a subscription fee from the main account, equal to the price of the offer.

• The minutes in the offer will only be used for Zamtel to Zamtel mobile & Zamtel to Zamtel Landline calls, after which the calls will be billed from the main account or any other available wallet.

• Minutes cannot be used to Call other networks. Calls to other networks will be billed from the main account or other available wallets.

• The SMSs in the offer can only be used to SMS Zamtel numbers only. Off-net SMSs will be billed from the main account or any other available wallet.

• When a subscriber activates any of the offers, they will have free access to Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp and will not be billed from their DATA or main balance within the validity of the offer subscribed to.

• Browsing on other social media applications and websites will be billed from the DATA benefits as defined for each offer or the main account if no other bundle is available

• Use of the social media applications will be off the Application and Websites version for the respective offers.

• A customer can subscribe to other offers on 422 / 355 at the same time that the defined offers in the promotion are active.

• Priority of usage will be given to the offer with the shortest validity. That is for use on Minutes, SMSs and DATA.

• A customer can subscribe to a package multiple times in a day.

• The offer will have no auto-subscription/auto-renewal option; Therefore, customers can subscribe and re-subscribe to offers at any given time.

• Roaming calls and calls to international numbers do not form part of this offer and will be charged at applicable rates.

• Customers who are within the network in Zambia but are calling Zamtel numbers that are roaming will be able to call using the benefits as long as they are actively subscribed to the offer.

• Calls to chargeable short codes and special/premium numbers will be billed based on the rules defined for those numbers.

• The minutes and data bundles given in this offer will assume highest priority in terms of usage unless otherwise defined.

• Benefits offered are not limited to a specific or solid hour and can be used throughout the day.

• All unused minutes, SMSs and Data for the 24hour/Week/Month period will not be carried forward i.e. if the minutes, SMSs and Data are not used up within the 24hour/Week/Month period, they will be zeroed.

• If the customer un-subscribes from the offer at any time, i.e. the customer cancels the offer benefits, then the free minutes, SMS and Data will be zeroed immediately.

• Customers cannot subscribe to an offer using bonus talk time. Only talk time from the main account will be valid for subscription.

• The benefits from the offer will not be valid for use on premium short codes, internet browsing, internet bundle purchases and other value added services.

• Customers on Real Mahala will be unsubscribed once they subscribe to the ‘Elo Chadiba!’ Offers. A customer will have to subscribe back into Real Mahala tariff to enjoy this tariff.

• If a customer is browsing a video on Facebook or Instagram that is linked to an external website, they will be billed from their main account.

• If the customer exhausts all their benefits before the validity period has been reached, the customer will be charged for calls, SMSs & data services from the airtime in their main account or any other available wallet.

• Customers will be billed at standard voice rates for calls and SMS services

• Data will be billed at K0.96 per MB.

• Zamtel reserves the right to amend the rates and benefits of this offer.
