Q: Has Zamtel phased out the old packages?
A: Yes, the old packages have been phased out.
Q: Will I be given the option to migrate to the new bundle or stay on existing package?
A: All customers will be moved to the new packages at their next payment. Customers who have paid in advance will continue on their current bundles until expiry of their prepayment, new subscribers will adopt the new bundle package/new subscription packages.

Q: How long are the bundles valid for?
A: They are valid for 30 days from date of activation.
Q: What are top-up bundles?
A: If within the 30 days you have depleted your initial main bundle, you can top-up your account to continue browsing.
Q: How long are the top-up bundles valid for?
A: The top-up bundles are valid within the 30-day validity of the main bundle. For example: If a bundle is purchased on 1st of November 2016, it is valid until 30th November 2016.
Q: Can I buy top-up bundles as initial bundles?
A: No. Top-up bundles can only be activated upon depletion of the main bundle within the validity period of the main bundle.
Q: What top-up bundles am I entitled to?
A: Anything lower than or equal to my initial bundle. E.g 10 GB main bundle can purchase top up bundles of 10 GB, 5 GB, 1 GB and 500 Mb.
Q: If I do not exhaust my main bundle before the expiry date, will my balance accumulate when I activate a new bundle?
A: No. Upon expiry of the main bundle or top-up bundle you are required to purchase a new bundle and no accumulation will occur.
Q: Will I get a notification when my main bundle or top bundle is about to be depleted?
A: Yes. A notification will pop up on your screen.
Q: How often will I receive the usage notifications?
A: At 50%, 90% and 100% depletion of the bundle.
Q: Do I need to go to the retail shop to activate my subscription and my top- bundle?
Q: How many times can I buy top-up bundles in a month?
A: Depending on the tariff plan you are on, you can top-up as many dependencies within the validity period of the initial bundle.
Q: In the event of a power outage, will my bundle balance remain the same?
A: Yes. The bundle balance will be maintained.
Q: How can I check for my main bundle balance and top-up bundle balance?
A: You can check for your balance by using the following platform.
Self-Care portal: Simply go to www.selfcare.zamtel.co.zm and follow instructions.
Retail outlet – You can walk into any of our retail outlets and request for your balance by simply providing the account number.

Terms & Conditions
This is a pre-paid broadband service that is open to the general public.
Upon depletion of the main bundle balance, a top-up bundle can be purchased and can only be used within the 30 days’ validity period of the initial main subscription package.
The customer cannot purchase Top-up bundles as initial bundles.
A top-up bundle can only be purchased provided it is equal to or lower than the size of the initial main bundle as summarised in the table below.
Top-up bundles can be purchased as many times as desired, provided it is within the 30 days’ validity period of the initial main subscription package.
The Subscriber shall be entitled to purchase Top-up (Ad-hoc) ADSL Bundles throughout the month and any unused Top-up (Ad-hoc) ADSL Bundles shall not be carried over to the validity period of the following month. Any Top-up bundles purchased in the current month shall only expire on the anniversary date of the initial main subscription package.
Upon depletion of the main bundle balance, a Top-up bundle can then be purchased but can only be used within the 30 days’ validity period of the initial main subscription package.
The Top-up bundles are only valid for the duration of initial main subscription package.
A customer can only subscribe/opt into any of the initial main ADSL tariff price plans once a month.
A customer cannot unsubscribe/opt out from one tariff price plan and subscribe/opt into another tariff price plan at the same time.
The customer cannot purchase top-up bundles as initial subscription packages.
All prices of the bundles, both main and Top-up, are VAT inclusive.
Old Bundle Packages shall cease being sold once the new bundles are launched.
All customers are to be moved to the new packages at their next payment. Customers who have paid in advance will continue on their current bundles until expiry of their prepayment, new subscribers will adopt the new bundle package/new subscription packages.
The Subscribers will only use the service for purposes that are lawful and for which it was designed and will not use the Service, directly or indirectly, in a way that:
1. is discriminatory, defamatory, harmful, obscene, or illegal;
2. constitutes invasion of privacy, hate speech, incitement to commit criminal acts, or infringes copyright or other intellectual property rights;
3. interferes with any third party’s use of the service;
4. transmits unsolicited bulk messages (“spam”);
5. unlawfully obtain information about or from third parties;
6. spreads viruses or other computer or communications software, code, programs or files that impede or destroy the functionality of any computer or communications software or equipment;
7. otherwise breaches the terms or this Agreement; or
8. In Zamtel’s sole discretion constitutes abuse of the Service or of Zamtel’s systems.
Zamtel reserves the right to establish its policies, rules and limitations, from time to time, as regards the use of the service. The subscriber must comply with any data storage, bandwidth and other limitations Zamtel may impose, in its sole discretion.
Failure to comply with these rules will result in the service being restricted, suspended or terminated, at the sole discretion of Zamtel.
