When a customer buys a Daily, weekly or monthly offer, they get to enjoy free night calling.

Q: What is the On-net Offer?

A: The offer is valid for pre-paid Zamtel customers only. On-net Chi Coin awards a customer with SMS, talking minutes and data bundle benefits.

On-Net Chi Coin has four validity offers;

Midnight Offers - 00:01am - 00:01am

Daily Offers - Valid for 24Hrs

Weekly offers - Valid for 7Days

Monthly Offers - Valid for 30Days.

Q: How do I check my balance?

A: Simply dial *422# and select option 5.

Q: Can I subscribe more than once in a day?

A: Yes, you can subscribe more than once in a day. Simply unsubscribe from one package and subscribe to another.

Q: Can I subscribe to On-net offers and All-network offers at the same time?

A: No, the All-networks offers and On-net offers cannot be active at the same time.

Q: What Data will I use up first if I have an active bundle and opt into on-net coin offer?

A: After opting into on-net coin offer the allocated benefits will be used first.

Q: Can I get any free calling when on the On-net Offer?

A: Yes, subscribers on active on Daily, Weekly and Monthly ON-net chi-coin have the benefit of making free calls from Midnight to 05:59AM

Q: What happens to my minutes that have not been used after free night calling has ended at 05:59AM?

A: The minutes will be active to use from 06:00AM to midnight, provided the package is still within the validity period.

Q: I get sorry 'you have no special bonus account" when checking my balance, what does this mean?

A: This means you have no active benefits or you have not renewed your package for the present day/Week/Month.

Q: How do I check my balance for Minutes, Data & SMS I have left for the day?

A: To check balance you simply have to dial *422# and select option 4.

Terms & Conditions

All Zamtel mobile prepaid customers are eligible to subscribe for this offer.

Customers will be able to access these offers by dialing *422#.

Customers will have a choice of Midnight, Daily, Weekly and Monthly offers.

Midnight offers will be valid from time of subscription to 23:59 PM .

Daily offers will be valid for 24 hours from time of subscription.

Weekly offers will be valid for 7 days from day of subscription.

Monthly offers will be valid for 30 days from the day of subscription

The term "benefits" will imply, voice minutes, data bundles and SMS.

Benefits attached to each offer will be valid from the time of subscription until the defined expiry time/date.

The benefits that are attached to each offer will be given to a customer upon successful deduction of a subscription fee from the main account, equal to the price of the offer.

Voice minutes will be used to Call Zamtel Mobile & Landline Numbers.

SMS will be used for Zamtel to Zamtel SMSs, after which SMSs will be billed from the main account.

The minutes'/SMS benefit given in this offer will be used to call/SMS Zamtel Numbers only.

Off-Net calls, roaming calls and calls to international numbers do not form part of this Tariff and will be charged at applicable rates.

Free calling will apply on the Daily, Weekly & Monthly On-net offers from 00:01AM to 06:00AM

Customers who subscribe to the Daily, Weekly & Monthly offers between 00:01 AM and 05:59AM will only be able to use their allocated minutes at 06:00AM.

Customers on the Daily, Weekly, Monthly Offers will be able to use their allocated data and SMS during the free night calling period.

Customers who are within the network in Zambia but are calling Zamtel numbers that are roaming will be able to call using the benefits as long as they are actively subscribed to the offer.

Calls to chargeable short codes and special numbers will be billed at the rates defined for those numbers.

A subscriber can only opt into one (1) offer at any one time.

A subscriber can opt into a package multiple times in day. However, when a customer activates a new offer, all active benefits are forfeited and the new activated benefits take effect.

The offer will have no auto-subscription/auto-renewal option; therefore, customers can subscribe at any given time.

The minutes and data bundles given in this offer will assume highest priority in terms of usage unless otherwise defined.

Daily, Weekly & Monthly Benefits offered are not limited to a specific or solid hour and can be used throughout the day. Free night calling is applicable from 00:01AM to 06:00AM (calls will not be billed from the allocated minutes)

Midnight Offer Benefits are limited to use be from time of subscription until 23:59 - PM. Free night calling from 00:01AM to 06:00AM is not applicable on the Midnight offers.

All unused minutes, SMSs and Data for the Midnight/24hour/Week/Month period will not be carried forward i.e. if the minutes, SMSs and Data are not used up within the Midnight/24hour/Week/Month they will zeroed.

If the customer un-subscribes from the offer at any time, i.e. the customer cancels the offer benefits, then the free minutes, SMS and Data will become 0 immediately.

Customers cannot subscribe to offer using bonus talk time. Only talk time from the main account will be valid for subscription.

Customers who are active on the offer are not eligible/and do NOT have access to benefits on other tariffs. i.e Family & Friends, Real Mahala, Chalila

If the customer exhausts all their benefits before the validity period has been reached, the customer will be charged for calls, SMSs & data services from the airtime in their main account or any other available wallet.

Customers will be billed at standard voice rates for calls and SMS services.

Data will be billed at K0.96 per MB.

Zamtel reserves the right to amend rates and benefits of this offer

Minutes from these offers can only be used for Zamtel to Zamtel calls.

Customers can subscribe multiple times in day and a new subscription will not cancel the already active 422 benefits.

Customers who are active on this offer and want to subscribe to either Family & Friends or Real Mahala tariff will have to forfeit their benefits because a customers can only be active on one tariff at any given time.
