Q: What time can I use the Free Browsing bonus?
A: The Free Browsing will be active and usable immediately after activating a standard bundle.
e.g. 20MB activated at 10:00am, free browsing window of 20mins will begin at 10:00am and expire at 10:20am.
Q: If I share my bundle, will the free browsing time also be transferred?
A: No. The free browsing time cannot be transferred; the free browsing will only be applicable for use by the customer who buys the bundle.
Q: How can I check how much time I have remaining on my free browsing?
A: The free browsing time is as defined in the table below, therefore end time of bundle will be based on when the bundle was activated. Start time of the free browsing can be checked against the time as indicated in the SMS that confirms purchase of the bundle.
Q: How many times can I get Free Browsing in a day.
A: There is no limit to the number of times you can get the free browsing in a day, provided a standard bundle is purchased. *Terms and conditions apply.
Q: If I have another bundle active from All-Network Chi-coin, On-Net Chabeba, Real Mahala, Night or Weekend which bundle will be used first?
A: - The Free browsing time will take priority usage before any other available bundles.
- Thereafter, (if customer is within night / weekend window and has night/weekend bundle balance the bundle will take effect.)
- Then All-network Chi-coin, On-net Chabeba or Real Mahala bundle will be used up.
- The standard bundle will take last priority usage
Note that, if another bundle is active from other offers and a standard bundle is purchased the unlimited window will begin and other bundles used thereafter provided they have not reached their expiry.
Terms & Conditions
1. The Free browsing promotion is open to Zamtel Prepaid mobile customers only.
2. The Promotion will run for 90 days' period from the 8th of November 2017.
3. The free browsing time will be credited upon purchase of a standard bundle with exception of night and weekend bundles from the *355# menu.
4. Free Browsing will be time capped depending on the validity of the standard bundle purchased as per table below:

NB: Night & Weekend bundles will not have any free browsing time allocated.
5. Free browsing will be valid from time of purchase of standard bundle to the time as defined in the table above.
6. Standard bundles can be purchase as many times within the day, however free browsing bonus time will not accumulate.
7. If more than one bundle is activated more than once within the free browsing window, each free browsing time will run parallel / concurrent to each other.
e.g Daily bundle purchased at 10:00am, free browsing time expires at 10:20am, second Daily bundle purchased at 10:15am, free browsing time will now expire at 10:35am. The 5 Mins difference from the first free browsing time will be forfeited at purchase of the second bundle. The same will be assumed for other validity's.
8. Accumulation of bundles will only be applicable for bundles within the same validity.
9. Customers can purchase the bundle as many times as they wish during the stipulated time.
10.If another bundle from other offers is active on the customer line, the priority usage will be as follows; Free Browsing Time- Other bundle - Standard bundle. If the standard bundle has been depleted, customer's data usage will be from talk time main account at existing Pay as you go (PAYG) data rates
11.Bundle can be purchased at any time; however, will only be valid for use between the times stipulated above.
12.A subscriber can purchase the bundle using the existing mobile internet USSD code (*355#).
13.Any unused data bundle at the end of the validity period will be zerorised / forfeited
14.Zamtel reserves the right to amend or adjust the rules of the promotion.
